Indian Media Groups’ Content is not used to tran chatgpt, filing in court shows

The Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) representing online units of many media groups has alleged that Chatgpt is using their news websites to get content. Openai and his lawyer did not answer the request sent for comment about this. India has become the second largest market in terms of number of users for Chatgpt. Openai has reported that the number of its users in the country has almost been almost tripled last year. The CEO of Openai, who recently visited India, says that India should join the leading countries of AI revolution.
In a meeting with IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Altman was praised by AI’s rapid increase in the country. He had said, “I think India should join the leading countries with AI revolution.” Vaishnaw had reported that he had a great discussion with Altman on AI Stack – GPUS, model and apps making apps. He had said that Openai is ready to help all three. Prior to India, Altman traveled to South Korea and Japan. Openai also had a big deal with Japan’s SoftBank Group.
