On Thursday night, India successfully repelled several Pakistani attacks across Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, while a large-scale blackout was implemented along the western border. At least eight Pakistani missiles were intercepted in the Jammu region — including areas like Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia — as India’s S-400 air defence system neutralized threats at multiple locations. Blackouts and air raid sirens were reported across the Jammu region, with sirens also sounding in Akhnoor, Samba, Baramulla, and Kupwara.

In response, India launched counter-attacks targeting Pakistan’s air defence systems at various locations, including the one in Lahore, which was reportedly destroyed.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority announced the closure of Karachi airport until 6 p.m., while Islamabad and Lahore airports were temporarily shut down due to “operational reasons.”
